I must apologise for those others who wish to vent their spleen against you.

I think that getting a reliable answer to your question may be a trifle difficult, as understand that only Muslims can go to the place that you describe, and (being myself a non-Muslim) I cannot assess whether or not Muslims are allowed to touch the tomb. But then again I may be talking a complete load of tripe.

As an observer of religions, I also wonder if Jesus's tomb is as apocryphal as the Prophet's tomb. (BTW: was Jesus also not a prophet?)

But then again, I suspect that the Mamon element in only allowing a peep through a hole in a door may also be playing a part in all this.

to grind.
