Re: 10 Reasons Why Islam is the Religion of Truth

By Muhammad's time the Roman Empire
was not collapsing, it had collapsed.
The Byzantine and Persian empires had fought each other
so much and so long that both were easily conquered
by the highly motivated jihadists from Arabia.

I still need to do more comprehensive research here.

It seems to be inconsistent.
If you have to be a talmudist to make sense out of it,
the Quran is not what it says it is.

I am not a talmudist and I can make sense of it. I suspect that if you
read it you would understand it.

Remove the contribution oil makes to the GNP,
Arab/Muslim countries are among the poorest in the world.
Clearly, you need to read economic statistics,
or better, just visit non oil-producing Arab countries.

Jordan is not an oil producing country and it's doing fine. So is
Malaysia, Indonesia and Pakistan. Your statement does not support your
argument; what can you say about Africa? What do you say about Latin
America? Poor countries and non-Muslims.

That's a good rule, but be careful,
others will use it regarding Christianity and/or Judaism.
Do you accept the implications of this rule in every case?

Yes, I do and I like that you do.

One of the main things of Islam is that it's a way of life... Islam is
not a religion but a 'deen' which means a way of life.. it's been this
way since the start... again, you're killing me with you ignorance
(the type that is intentional). Where is your proof that it originated
in the 6th century?

Do you know of a religion which is called
by its followers "just a religion"?

I agree with you. If you notice, I wrote the mentioned statement in
reply to what Dean J said that
Exactly because Islam is a
complete way of life originated in the seventh century

Do you realize that you allocate to Islam,
followers of another religion,

How? can you explain this?

and at the same time reject as non-Muslim,
Quran-quoting-terrorists who swear
YOU are not living as a true Moslem should!
It's suspicious self serving stance, isn't it?

What you refer to as Quran-quoting-terrorists are a small percentage
of Muslims worldwide which would almost approach zero but with a
microscope so focused on them: it seems that they are the majority.

But why?

1. The answer is in my humble opinion is out of having deep deep
frustration at the what's happening all around. The Muslim governments
are Islam's worst enemy who support corruption and only take the
muslim
countries and islam down for personal advantages bearing in mind 60%
of
Muslims are in the youth age group (thus more emotional)

2. Lack of understanding of the text and having the frustration
justify
the case of holy war which is very easy to justify knowing the
situation in Palestine and Iraq and so on.

Now, in some other cases such acts are truly valid and only getting a
one sided view may be deceiving.

Look at the current world:
1. Muslims in Iraq are fighting to liberate their lands from Americans
2. Bosnia and Kosovo have witnessed the largest current genocide just
because they are Muslims and the world kept watching for the longest
time
3. Muslims have had the worst oppression in Chechenya and they still
do
4. Muslims in Palestine are having an unjust life in their land

You are comparing students with scholars of Islam? In Islam, if the
person is suspected of weak memory then his narration is void. If the
person is suspected of weak morals, then his narration is void. Thus
my point is that you have no point. Your analogy is a proof against
you.

Hundreds of thousands of Hadith came into being 150-250
years after the time of Muhammad,
at a time when an ability to recite them
would have proved advantageous, in many respects.
You have to be blind not to have suspicions.

True and I agree with you. It seems that you agree with me on the
Quran being preserved (whether you believe it's the word of God is a
different discussion). The Sunnah have been treated with very careful
consideration. Large parts of the statements in some of the Sunnah
books have been considered false (incorrect or weak narration chains
to the prophet peace be upon him). Large parts have been been
validified and analyzed (strong narration chains). You can find some
info regrding this science:
