The crusades and Muslim colonialism: suppressed by sri

The first of the following postings (mine) was rejected by
soc.religion.islam on the alleged grounds that it is not relevant to
Islam. I give the two postings to which it is a response.

As regards the crusades, it needs to be pointed out in the face of
relentless Muslim propaganda that they were a belated response to 400
years of jihad which had conquered the Christian East and reduced it to
dhimmitude. It was also a response to the Turkish threat to Christian
Byzantium, a threat which led to its total defeat and the reduction of
its people to dhimmis and slaves.

Regarding colonialism, the Muslims were much in advance of Europe in
this, conquering an empire extending from North Africa and Spain,
through the Middle East, Persia, Afghanistan, India, and Central Asia.
In Persia the Zoroastrians were subject to horrendous repression -
nothing was written in Persian for 200 years and cities were again and
again put to the sword in order to force them to conform to Islam. The
entire Hindu population of Afghanistan (as it was) was massacred, and
jihad was conducted against the Indians with unspeakable bloodshed
during 1000 years, the last taking place towards the end of the 18th
century.

European colonialism was insignificant when compared to the Muslim
record of bloodshed, exploitation, and repression. Most Muslim
countries were part of the Ottoman Empire and did not suffer extended
European colonisation, and when they did they enjoyed better human
rights than they do now. Egypt was under British control for a
comparatively short period.

Those who think that EuroAmerica will do an iotaof good for Muslims are

The only way is to neutralize their military strength. They will come down
to their knees again. They have no 'values' to which they can stand up for.
The only way to peace is through a position of Strength, the military
strength. The Muslims already have the strength and Superiority of values
and society.

doing is keeping it to ourselves. Lets gain knowledge through the
