It's understandable. American Muslims, too often, are put in the
position to defend themselves and their faith against the violent
actions of a few scoundrels who claim their murderous actions are done
in the name of Islam.

It is not only the America Muslims who are on the defensive but more and
more Muslims in the Middle East are publicly condemning Islamism.

Recently Saudi Arabia called Islamism the "work of the devil".

We are making progress.
