Gainfully employed? Taxi driver? service industry? Living at poverty
level is not going to beget a good attitude toward this s called
democracy once the are here.
The one that have the education that allows that they actually can live
without public assistance should stay in their homeland and do something
to improve its employment situation. Instead of abandoning it like rats
from a sinking ship.
Its true that the monied in this country don't do much to help the
unemployment figures. They are money hoarders and and don't understand
the economy is based on spending.
Ther lower educated unemployed in this country don't really have
anthing to offer the monied except themselves. Which is not something
the monied want. A great number of slaves are not needed in an
industrialized country.
You can say that unemployment is at a record low . But the government
figures lie.If you have never been employed the you are not a statistic
as far as the government figures are concerned.
There is no easy answer to the poverty problem unless you seek out and
offer compensation for innovative ideas like the Apple computer founder
is doing. A lot of people have ideas that they don't have the means to
develope. Even in third world countries. If more monies were offered for
workable ideas then more people would try to think of better ways of
doing things and this would created a avalanche of new ideas. People
would be motivated to do something other than wallow in dejection and
poverty.
If the haves want a world where there are productive people they
should realize they have to means motivate.
The greed in this country is what makes it a target of terrorism.
Homeland security is a farce. It is undermanned and top heavy with
administration. I'd bet that the administrators of H.S. earn (pardon get
paid) more that Supreme Court judges.
We know who the targets of terrorist would be if they were able to be
any more selective than the Biblicl god. The wealthy , the C.I.A.and the
military.
People that think Pat Robertson has a majority behind him are blind
to George Bushes and most other politicians motives for wooeing the
religious fundametalists. They want it to appear that they actually have
support from an existing legitimate large group of voters.
