Mohammed's failings and confusion

Qur'an 7:188 Say: I control not benefit or harm for myself except as Allah
please. And had I known the unseen, I should have much of good, and no evil
would touch me. I am but a warner and the giver of good news to a people who
believe.

Qur'an footnote: The simplicity and nobility of this statement as indicating
the mission of a prophet is unsurpassed. He gives glad news of triumph to
those who believe, warns the evil-doers of the evil consequences of their
deeds in this life as well as in the next, but he does not claim the
possession of Divine powers.

Note: Mo-ham-mad proclaimed that he was just an ordinary sinful man or
mortal unlike Christ.

Matthew 8:26-27 But He said to them, "Why are you fearful, O you of little
faith?" Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a
great calm. So the men marveled, saying, "Who can this be, that even the
winds and the sea obey Him?"

Colossians 1:16-17 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and
that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or
principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.
And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.

Regarding Israel, GOD said: "I will bless those who bless you, and I will

Regarding the reestablishment of Israel, GOD said: Now therefore thus saith
the Lord, the God of Israel . . . Behold, I will gather them out of all the
countries, whither I have driven them, in mine anger . . . and I will bring
them again unto this place, and I will cause them to dwell safely: and they
shall be my people and I will be their God .
