Terrorism long preceded GW, and terrorism will be around long after GW
is gone. Yes, it is the Islamists fault.

There you go. Poor double-crossed Dubya. Wasn't his fault.
Never a hint the French or Chinese or Germans wouldn't help.
Complete surprise that "Death-to-the-Great-Satan" Iran, right across
the border with hundreds of thousands of pilgrams coming and going
across it, wouldn't be cooperating.

The US could handle the Iranian border. What it wasn't prepared to
handle was the duplicity of France, Germnay, Belgium, Russia, and
others, and not only their total lack of material support, but a
vicious propaganda war which we now understand was caused by illegal,
UN sanction-busting, back room deals.

My man, I think you need a new hobby. If you can't figure out that
2000 US dead and who-knows-how-many thousands Iraqi civilians dead
with no end in site was a mistake, you should stay away from this
international politics stuff. Try rec.autos.sport.nascar ... and take
Dubya with you.

The number of US dead is high in order to keep the number of Iraqi
deaths to a minimum. The US, with some help from the UK, is engaged in
a police action. I am vehemently opposed to the current rules of
engagement which sacrifices American lives to save Iraqi civilians who
then hide and support terrorists in their midst. I would like to see
the US go back to war mode with much increased air support and
collateral damage be damned.
