When Gospel Gone

Christ is righteous for us for salvation,
according to the real Biblical Gospel.
When that Gospel has been cast
away by the world as it has today,
then people trust in themselves,
in things such as their repenting,
surrender, commitment, baptism,
church, taking sacrament, giving, enduring,
rather than trusting in Christ alone for salvation,
and rather than just doing those other things
out of love for God.
That is because when the real Biblical Gospel is gone,
people do not know that Christ is
our Righteous Substitute for salvation,
and that he imputes (counts) his righteousness
to us when he gives us faith to trust him
to be righteous for us, to give us eternal life.
So people rather turn to themselves
and trust in their own "righteousness",
especially in their repenting
rather than repenting out of love for God,
and so people work for salvation,
which saves no one at all:
Now to him that worketh
is the reward not reckoned of grace,
but of debt.
But to him that worketh not,
but believeth on him
that justifieth the ungodly,
his faith is counted for righteousness.
Even as David also describeth
the blessedness of the man,
unto whom God imputeth
righteousness without works,
(Romans 4:4-6 KJV)
When the Gospel is gone,
people no longer know
that Christ is the only righteousness
there is for salvation,
and that everyone else is ungodly
and will remain so forever
unless Christ declares us righteous
by imputing his own righteousness to us.
That righteousness of Christ is
the very righteousness of God himself,
and is infinitely beyond the angels,
and only Christ will ever be that righteous.
But that righteousness is imputed to us by Christ
as though we were as righteous
as Christ himself, who is God, the Son,
so that he gives us eternal life:
As it is written,
There is none righteous, no, not one:
There is none that understandeth,
there is none that seeketh after God.
They are all gone out of the way,
they are together become unprofitable;
there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
(Romans 3:10-12)
But now the righteousness of God
without the law is manifested,
being witnessed by the law and the prophets;
Even the righteousness of God
which is by faith of Jesus Christ
unto all and upon all them that believe:
for there is no difference:
For all have sinned,
and come short of the glory of God;
(Romans 3:21-23)
People need to get back to the real Biblical Gospel.
Christ showed that Gospel to me,
same as to Paul and Luther,
because the world had cast it away again,
as after the Apostles,
so now after the Reformers.
That Gospel is posted at my website,
and is not at all the so-called "gospels"
so popular today, and that save no one at all.
