Dear Whiskers of soc.religion.quaker,

I feel your link author did justice to summarize her Arthurian
scholarship. You also might have picked up that the reception
of the 2 women was similar, on the scholarly level. And, Dr.
Thiering's was a holy terror in the public press.

Some time ago, Peter Alaca provided an example of what happens way
too often on sci.arch. His excellent link resulted in little
productive discussion -

In response to your suggestion to focus on cisterns, I plead guilty
to
relying exclusively on a style of giving relevant excerpts. If you
want interaction
to merge personal opinions in a mutual search for TRUTH On The
Cisterns,
let's now have at it. I've already contacted Doug Weller about it
but
don't yet know his answer.

Let's make the style of slash/burn (insult trade) a thing of the
past.

With all good wishes,
David Christainsen

P.S.
If people want to get into the evidence for the Essene Connection to
the
family of Jesus, we can. They once walked Qumran and its outposts.
