For many years beginning around 1984, I've been reading
the "Plain Truth, a magazine of understanding" by the
Worldwide Church of God begun by the founder, Herbert W.
Armstrong. The Plain Truth had it's own magazine stands and
could be found at many street corners in Vancouver, Canada.
But after Mr Armstrong passed away, the availability of the
magazine changed. Suddenly, finding the magazine became
more difficult.
Sometime around the early 1990s if I recall, my subscription
was cancelled and I stopped receiving it.
A few years ago I came stumbled on a similar magazine "The
Good News" published by the United Church of God, an
International Association.
It appears to have has very similar (if not the same) beliefs as
the Plain Truth did. So I've been reading it ever since.
About a year ago, another magazine was on a table at an office.
It was called "Tomorrow's World" published by the Living Church
of God. I find it almost the same as the Good News and they
sometimes quote or make reference to the Plain Truth and Mr.
Armstrong. The magazine pages appear thicker then the Good
News and the article written to resemble the Plain Truth.
I subscribe to both. My question is which magazines is the most
closest to bible teachings: the Good News or Tomorrow's World?
I often wonder which magazine would Armstrong most approve of.
