I have found a lot of material defining what is proper and what is not
in a good Christian life. I agree that these goals and morals are
things we should all strive for. However, I am having trouble finding
material on-line that offers practical suggestions to work toward
these ideas and morals. Few people can hit a switch and sudden become
pious people. Is there any written material available on how break
down common sins to help people make a plan to move away from them?
Cold turkey works fine for some people, but what if you need steps?

Try Alcoholics anonymous. Same steps as they use.
