You saw none of the above! You merely saw a manning running into the
battle field waving his arms above his head. Nothing else!

In this example, the possibilities for this man's actions are numerous
- suicide case, brave, peacemaker, cannon fodder, etc. Whatever value
you appropriated is your interpretation of what you saw. None of them
are necessarily true and/or correct. It could even be something
comepletely different - perhaps even outside your knowledge base.

It would therefor be illogical to use one's own value system to
interpret a situation - UNLESS you know all the facts.

Well, you didn't give me all the facts. And if it were suicide what would
be the significance of him waving his hands above his head? You're not
really very clever are you? For a moment I thought you were going to come
out with some profound, intelligent answer. Most judgements are made
based
on experience and knowledge.


That is precisely my point! You did not have all the possible answers.
Similarly, NONE of us have all the answers regarding religion, faith,
God or the universe. Somehow this obvious shortcoming (lack of all
knowledge) does not stop you or anybody else from making statements.


Fair comment, so why are you aiming these kind of questions at SheBlewHim
and myself? We are the ones who know we don't have all the facts ... it is
the christians (bcm) who are claiming they have all the answers and that
they're in touch with the invisible, creator God etc. SheBlewHim, myself and
others are just attempting to logically point out to them the several holes
in their belief only in the attempt of gaining understanding - i.e. we've
always hoped to get equally intelligent answers but the whole thing has just
become a bit of a joke, as the christians end up going into "crap mode".

You make some valid points, but you're aiming them at the wrong audience :-)
