Good Friday Prayer and "perfidious" Jews.

Good Firday, commemorating Christ's death on the Cross, falls on April
2 this year. The Good Friday prayer in Catholicism has traditionally
used the term "perfidious" Jews. What exactly does this refer to and
is it considered anti-semitic? Does the Novus Ordo Church still use
this term? How can Catholics be considered anti-semitic when we
worship Jesus, who is Jewish and is known as the Messiah, the Divine
Son of God, the Second Person of the Holy Trinity and King of the
Jews?
