Question about the Eating Meet on Friday / Missing Mass rulings.

Hello. Im investigating the Roman Catholic religion. Its my
understanding that if a person ate meet on a friday or missed Mass
regularly, it earned him / her eternal damnation .. but since Vatican
2 these Dogmas have been dropped . My question is : Will the
people who went to Hell when these Dogmas were in effect, mind ?
Or will God take them out of Hell because the Roman Catholic Church
decided to terminate the original Dogma invention ? Perhaps a Roman
Catholic could give answer. Thanks.
