Hey, no matter how hard you try to reject the words of Christ, the words in Mat
16:13-20 most clearly define a job description for the man that:

a. Heard directly from the Father.

As have all Christians everywhere, through the Holy Spirit.

b. Given the keys to the Kingdom of God.

Which he used at pentecost.

c. Given authority to bind/loose on earth to be so in Heaven.

Which is given to ALL Christians everywhere.

d. Called the rock foundation on which Christ built his Church on earth.

The passage says no such thing. He is called Peter; Jesus is the ROCK
in that passage, not peter, who is called "satan" only a few lines
later.

Now if you want to follow satan, you may. You clearly don't follow
the rock.

Now, if you don't like the word Pope, or Papa, or Father as given by 1 Cor 4:15,
that's your problem as a protest_er.

Hmm. This is EXACTLY THE SAME context in which Timothy is called in
1 Timothy 1:2 by Paul. ALL Christians are spiritual children of those
who lead them to Jesus Christ. That does NOT make them popes.

Sorry, but just using the term "fathers" does not make peter become a
pope any more than you calling YOUR daddy "father" would make him a
pope.
