Duke's integrity

There are currently three thread on this newsgroup about Duke's
integrity.

Now, I'm sure Duke is a very important person to all of you. But may I
ask why his own integrity is such a concern to all of you?

Even if, for the sake of argument, he had no integrity, individual
comments he makes might still be valid in and of themselves. If, on
the other hand, he's got tons of integrity but is wrong, it's still up
to the person discussing with him to point out why his comments are
wrong.

I can certainly see why you might want to decide to continue to
discuss with him if you respect him or choose to stop discussing
topics if you don't respect him. I have a great deal more difficulty
why his integrity itself should be such a hot topic of discussion.

I mean, who cares?
