He did mention it. In John 8:58, when quizzed about how he has special
knowledge of Abraham, Jesus replies, "Truly, truly, I say to you,
before Abraham was, I Am", invoking and applying to himself the
personal name of God "I Am" (Ex. 3:14). His audience understood
exactly what he was claiming about himself. "So they took up stones to
throw at him; but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple" (John
8:59).

The immaculate Mary has always been that way even before 431.

** If everyone already knew, why announce such in 1545 ?

The angel Gabriel said, "Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with you" (Luke
1:28).

** Luke neither attended any of Jesus' lectures, met Jesus, or wrote the
Gospel of Luke.

The phrase "full of grace" is a translation of the Greek word
kecharitomene. It therefore expresses a characteristic quality of
Mary. There is only one person who is qualified to be called "full of
grace" in the Bible. Look at John 1:14 and find out.
