Why pray to a woman who has died? catholics raise her up on a
pedestal where she does not belong, have made a virtual goddess out of
her, and pretend she has powers and abilities she doesn't have.

Why not pray to the God we are supposed to pray to. JESUS, not mary
is our salvation. GOD is more kind, loving, understanding, forgiving
than mary or any other human being COULD be.

Salvation here, salvation there, salvation everywhere.
how to be saved, how to be sure to be saved etc. etc.

Salvation is an important message in the Bible.

Is Christianity only about salvation?

Nope.

I wonder how many would love and worship God if there were no salvation.
Just love God, Love Jesus, Love his mother, Love your Parents, Love your
neighbours, Have a talk to all of them and trust Jesus to look after your
salvation when the time comes.

Faith in Jesus BRINGS our salvation, and it is important that we have
that. That does NOT negate the Love of God, Jesus, our parents, or
neighbors; it INCLUDES that love. If you don't have that love, you
are not of God. Your question is meaningless.

Not if you take Abraham as an example of Faith.
Abraham loved God and did obey God without asking:
What is in it for me.
