American history as a recapitulation of Christianity

President George Washington = Saint Peter
Presidents=Popes

Civil War=Reformation
Jefferson Davis=Martin Luther
Union=Roman Catholic Church
Confederacy=Protestantism
Divergence: After the "South" (Protestantism) wins the Civil War,
Jesuit soldiers from the "Union" (Catholicism) win back the state of
Missouri (Poland) from the rebels. The Southern states (such as the
State of Presbyterianism) break away from cooperation with Jefferson
Davis' home state (the State of Lutheranism). The State of Texas
(Anglicanism) even begins to break up into smaller states such as the
State of Methodism and Weslyianism. The individual counties of West
Texas (Baptists) in turn go their own way. Each county declares they
are the true United States of America with the same politics
(doctrines) as the Founding Fathers (Early Church elders). In many
cases the counties even divide and subdivide into individual townships,
often over issues such as what color hymnal to use or whether womenfolk
can wear jeans, but each township affirms that they alone bear the true
faith and allegience to the politics of the founders. Over in Utah the
Quorum of the Thirteen Colonies preach about their restoration of the
politics of the Founding Fathers, which was lost for many decades.
Meanwhile in D.C. (Rome) the citizens of the original Union continue to
elect their presidents and preserve the original founding documents at
the Bureau of Archives (Vatican vaults).
