A few months back, I put my old DAB radio into my new car and can

Wales is rock solid - it's probably quite safe to extrapolate this to
the rest of the UK. It's actually better than it was a year ago as
there's now rock solid coverage of BBC National DAB in the Devon South
Hams, although Digital One is slightly behind. I must add that I do
have a proper setup with an external DAB aerial and not one of those
waste of time screen things.
I never bother with FM now as I can't tolerate the multi-path.
Well the main problem with DAB coverage is Indoor portable reception.
But then this pails into insignificance compared to the sound quality
problem.
Who cares about indoors? That's what the Internet's for. Sound quality on DAB is perfectly adequate for the car - its natural home.
