I'm also wondering whether it might be worth getting an internet radio, but I would need something that does dual band networking. The 2.4Ghz band tends to grind to a halt here, due to interference, but 5Ghz works great.

I also think a rechargeable battery pack would be essential.

Bit of a tall order perhaps.
