1.7 MHz channels
That will mean that DVB-H2 will also be able to use 1.7 MHz channels as
well - exactly the same channel bandwidth as DAB. The main drawback of using
DVB-H was that the minimum channel bandwidth was 5 MHz, which was deemed to
be too wide in terms of spectrum use and the power would have to be 3 times
higher.
DVB-H2 now offers:
* MIMO
* LDPC + BCH error correction
* 1.7 MHz channels
* Longer guard intervals than DAB/DAB+
1.7 MHz channels is the final piece of the jigsaw.
DVB-H2 is a perfect digital radio system.
