Well I'm surprised that the Trolls haven't pounced on you by now for
mentioning that DAB sound quality is poor.
You just have Richard.
Ha Ha. I don't think giving a little advice to check out the sound quality and reception is being a troll.
But yes it would be a goodidea to check out the sound quality.
Agreed. It's always a good idea to listen and make your own mind up.
DAB is all very well if you onlywant to listen to speech radio but the music station sound very poor.
In your opinion Richard. Others may disagree. That's why it's a good idea for people to listen for themselves.
Well even somebody from the BBC once described DAB as "not quite hi-fi" quality.
OK perhaps it is a bit of an opinion to call it very poor quality. Perhaps I should have just said that it was low quality, that would not really be just a matter of opinion. In the end though the real matter of opinion is whether the low quality is a problem, and I think we would probably agree that that is the reason to listen to it first.
I don't think it is patronising just to point out that there might be sound quality problems and/or reception problems.
If possible it would also be worth checking out the DAB signal quality,
as indoor DAB reception can also be very poor compared to FM. That's
another thing that newbies might not realise.
Yes, the poor old newbies eh? Not patronising at all.
