On two Saturday evenings now, I have noticed that my Quattro 4
Internet radio does not work. It works fine at most other times. I
assume this is due to congestion on the information superhighway. My
broadband is ADSL through Virgin Media.
Has anyone else experienced this difficulty? Am I right in assuming
this is a broadband issue? Is this normal? Will BT's upgrade
roll-out (I have forgotten the name) solve this?
Your radio might be faulty. Go to www.reciva.com and try listening to the
station direct to compare.
If it's slow via the computer then it is a speed issue. Virgin are using
traffic shaping, so at peak times the browsing comes first and everything
else is delayed.
