Recently I've had reception of Radio 2 impaired while driving my car, as another vehicle has overtaken me (most do these days). Once on the M3 in Surrey, the other time in Colchester town centre. In both cases I was tuned to 88.1, AIUI the 'default' Tx frequency of one of these devices.
Maybe the thing to do is drive anound permanently transmitting 5W of nasty tone on 88.1, and listen to CDs.
Or better still Tx the CDs at 5 watts, with a sign in the back of the car saying; "For some decent music, tune to 88.1"
