I couldn't get the DAB article to load, but if you click to watch
the full programme then the article with Quentin Howard lying on BBC
TV starts 25 minutes in.

Why do you have to respond to your own posts? If you're going to have
a mental breakdown, it saves a lot of embarrassment later if you do
it in private.

You're a well-known DAB apologist, and I bet you've watched that video, so
don't you feel embarrassed that you're apologising for the actions of
someone like Quentin Howard? I mean come on, let's be honest here, the man
hates radio listeners - they're there to be abused and manipulated in order
to provide higher profits for the commercial sector, and that's all they're
there for as far as he's concerned.

He's also the person that said in a presentation that he's proud to have
been the first person to apply dynamic range compression to classical music,
which classical music listeners hate, and in the same presentation he said
that radio isn't a transcription service and he basically went on to
advocate the use of low audio quality - this was at a technical conference,
and others were umming and arring at what he said to say the least.

And the other people you're sticking up for are just like him. Admittedly,
he's possibly the most extreme offender of the lot, because you can tell by
either watching him or listening to him that he actually could not care less
about the fact that he's just lying through his teeth and in the case of
Working Lunch, presumably a million or more people are watching it.

Basically, being a DAB apologist means you're supporting people who're far
more dishonest than politicians. Very strange.
