But, Bill, what about that 1 kW transmitter on 1035 kHz? How far does
it get? In the days when Radio Northampton had a medium wave outlet on
1088 kHz (listed as only 0.5 kW), I used to be able to receive it in
Surrey quite well on a medium wave loop, by day. But maybe there's a
lot else on 1035.
I tried to receive R Sheff on AM when I was in Edinburgh, but there was
nothing. That was on a car radio though.
