The Pure Bug does much the same, for very much less. Tesco online are
currently offering the original Bug, (the firmware of which can be upgraded
using a PC an the Internet), for just under £60 including p&p.

I'd like to be able to record radio programmes while I'm out, so I'm
looking for a DAB radio that can record up to an hour's worth of radio,
and can be set to record at a particular time.
I know I could attach an MP3 player or minidisc to a radio, then use
one of those time-switches you plug into a wall-socket, but I'd prefer
something that did it all 'in one box'. Also, I'd prefer it in a 'stand
alone' DAB radio, rather than something that needs to be plugged into
an audio system.
Any suggestions please?

Records to an SD card, so you can play it back on a Pocket PC or other
device as well as the radio itself
.
