Sure, but 15khz bandwith on fm, really not hifi.

Actually I am. Both as a listener and music producer.

convenience and content is king. It's not uncommon to hear "wow if i
make these songs 96kbps I can have 200 more songs on my mp3 player"

Quality on "convenience" music formats has low priority for the
majority of people, that's what.

For radio I want content, for hifi, 44.1khz 16 bit cd doesnt even cut it
