technical questions about DRM+ by now! ;-)

yesterday, I read again, FMeXtra website and Ibiquity ;) !

do it exist actually more informations about technical choice for
DRM+. We know it choose channel of 50 or 100 kHz or what's else.

HD Radio require a "license" fee to iBiquity, and since DRM+ will also
use iBiquity technology, it would be a regular license fee each year.
It is the IBOC technology that is patented and require "license" fee.


No, the person that wrote the article in Radio World used the term IBOC
merely to describe the fact that the German plan is to add DRM+ stations in
between existing FM stations. DRM+ will not have to pay a licence fee to
Ibiquity, because only DRM+ will be used.
