So looks like DAB is becoming the new medium wave.

I thought such products had been around for a few years now.
Convergence of form factors is also proving popular with consumers as the
first DAB/MP3 products enter the market this year.
Personally I've been on the look out for a good FM/MP3 personal stereo.
