West of England Home Service from Oxford was on 95.85 MHz, and a
wondrous thing it was. I was told it was picked up off-air from Wenvoe
by a receiver at Marlborough and fed down a phantom pair to Oxford
(Beckley), during which journey it picked up a complement of dialling
clicks and other noises-off. The Oxford transmitter also carried the
Midland Home Service, and the TV service was Midlands too. However,
newsagents in the city used to stock the South/West and London
editions of the Radio Times, with the London edition predominating
even though no London region programmes were to be heard. The Midlands
edition was nowhere to be seen.

The OP doesn't disclose his location, though I see that he is posting
via America On Line. If he's in north America, that might explain why
he hasn't seem more than one place of decimals. I've only ever had one
digital FM radio which didn't display the second digit, and it was a
pocket portable. It still tuned in 50kHz increments, though.
