Not being funny - but it may be an idea to leave it alone for the moment as
you may need to change channel - I know it's not ideal (and I know this is
your area of expertise!) but surely it would be easier to leave it as it is
rather than chop a bit off then find you need to weld it back on ;-) I've
had enough of welding this weekend trying to get the bloody bike finished
again!

Also who is this "we" - this is not my project and "we're" not playing with
video DAC's - you are! While I'm interested in what you're doing and quite
happy to help I want to distance myself from the actually broadcasty bits of
this operation please! For legal reasons, I am just the bearer and the data
carrier who is also providing you with sufficient processing power to
achieve your stream!

Yup - I know it's faulty at the moment - however as long as data is being
received successfully with little or no errors then it shows that the
transmission to your end is OK - just obviously the hardware output is a bit
gobblygook at the moment.

The programmes in the multiplex represent the left and right channels as I'm
having difficulty getting MA-4 and MA-3 to combine them into one stereo MPEG
stream - partly as what I'm trying to do just doesn't quite work (as trying
to run "on the fly") but if you prefer and are ready to fully test I can
playback a ready made datastream but you'll get sick of listening to the
same track over and over again ;-)

Running all 7 PC's plus the hardware encoder to a standard timebase over
this switch is next to impossible at the best of times... Talking of which
you didn't notice that the framing is complete wank due to sync problems
here! :-P

Why are we doing this at 4 in the morning again?

That is the least of the problems! LOL!

Bitch!

Bleedin' ell! Shove a broom up my arse and I'll sweep the floor as I code
shall I? Talking of which - you know BT want their circuit back on Friday
<ahem>

Anyway - seriously - not worried about the metadata - that can be XML'd into
everything as required (!) - as long as there is something carried then that
proves that the data bearer part works (even if flakey at the moment).

Kewel with tomorrow night - must get some sleep in a bit tho as I'm
knackered! As for replacement parts - sorry - no can do. This is your
project and I can't help finance any spares - bad enough having to nick
favours from BT! What rating are you looking for cos I could rip apart one
of the old (non-working) amps here (bound to have a toro in there)

> Sending LSB 1Khz tone at the moment for DX until 0430

Err.. Right. LSB as in least significant bit or lower sideband? Also one
slight problem with trying to "dx" - except for a DAB radio I haven't got
anything that tunes to Band 3 have I!

*LOL*

Remember, I'm only the data processing person and the "carrier" from and
to - not the tester, designer or implementer! I'll come and visit you in
prison if your end goes tits up ;-)

> Over to you 10-62.

Now you've totally lost me Kev ;-)

I thought CB was dead years ago or does that mean something else?

BTW - can you use my proper email addy next time as sending directly to the
internal mail server isn't good and makes things a little tracable on *some*
routes - also replies can then go to the wrong address by accident!. Sst
your SMTP in outlook to dominatrix.mikeapollo.net or use the internal
webmail at https://192.168.1.90:6000/doxvsw/daemon/mail/index.php

Anyway - cheers for the info.. Glad it's all starting to work for you (I
hope that's what you're trying to say!)

Catch you later,

Mike.
