Agreed. <ego massage> I visted your site </ego massage> and followed
the link to the AAC+ streaming links thing and I've got to say, I was
mightily impressed with the quality of sound for the bitrates. If all
radio transmissions became digital in the future (and used this AAC+),
and were broadcast from a satellite, how big would a portable radio
have to be? I mean, would they ever get to the size of pocket FM radios
we have today?

I've always wondered why the BBC and other terrestrial braodcasters
didn't just bite the bullet and scrap the transmitters on the hills
like winter hill and have all TV and radio broadcast from a satellite
or two, or am I being too simplistic?
