Provided that it's resonable 50 ohm coax the length of the coax should not
be that critical at 223MHz
Must admit I've been meaning to try thus myself. I did drive round with the
Evoke 1 in the car nunning on ots own whip aerial and it worked quite well,
including on the car's 13.8v supply.
Think I'll give it a try
