DAB sounds worse than FM schreef:
All DRM receiver have to have an HE AAC decoder in them, so sending an HE AAC stream through a DAB data channel and redirecting it in the receiver to the HE AAC decoder solves DAB's problem.
But will it help the 1,5 million DAB sets that are already sold?
No, but it'll help all other countries.
Not until it gets into the official specs!
(And it's not because you find a couple of references on the internet it *might* be interesting to add to the specs, that it is).
