go after academics and journalists-- anyone who could help educate the

Why would the United States need to do such a thing? Nobody in this
country listens to intellectuals anyway, people receive their news in
sound bites (if at all) and education is not taken seriously. What
good is the freedom to speak if nobody will listen?
