Let's see...

1) prisoners are not allowed DNA testing which might absolve them of
guilt

2) convicted felons cannot vote

3) mail and phone calls are not sacred

4) Their release date is not told to them

The whole system is designed for dehumanizing individuals and making a
return to legitimate productive life possible... don't you want
released criminals which can earn a living etc and which PAY taxes and
make restitution to the victims?

Do you really think anything could change those guys from crooks to
decent people? Get real, nothing can change them.

The only thing that can be done is to make all felonies capital crimes,
with drumhead trials and immediate execution.
