I will have the trace that the file was run from another place... but,
actually, it cant be run, because the original file, is encrypted in
another drive?
I have a similar set up to yours, an encrypted external drive with documents,
no applications.
If you run a registry cleaner, I reccomend freeware http://www.ccleaner.com
you will be able to see the names of the files you have in the encrypted
drive as Windows stores some registry keys with the names when you open them.
I reccomend you are very careful how you name your files, and if you do not mind
could you tell me what newsreader do you use from your encrypted drive?
I maybe interested in setting up a system like yours but so far the only newsreader
I can find that will run from inside an encrypted drive without installation is
Opera on USB http://www.opera-usb.com and it is not a proper reader.
I forgot to mention...if you have low RAM and you open lots of applications
while using the newsreader maybe some information could be leaked to the page
file (also called swap file).
I find 512RAM a minimum for Windows XP not to use the swap file.
