Whatever you do, you are not going to get far unless you know basic book
keeping and accounting (they are NOT the same, and an accounting course
does not teach book keeping as preparation).
Also one has to keep their business assets separate from their personal
assets, which are taught in an accounting class.
You also need basic law. There really is a funny sort of logic to most
laws, and once you catch on, you will have a feel for where you need to
watch your step.
That is true. Some types of businesses are illegal for some unknown
reason, while most require some sort of license. Some are also
regulated like mad, so know what you're getting into first.
For privacy, well, J J Luna is about the only author I know about, and I
don't know if he knows what he is talking about.
I did read his book "How to be Invisible" prior to it being revised
after 9/11, so my comments are based on that edition. It's an
interesting book that makes sense in theory, but putting alot of his
ideas into practice, that's another story. Some of what he suggests in
my opinion would be difficult to impossible to implement and I think
could actually cause you more problems than you started with.
I don't know enough about how the net works to suggest how to set up any
sort of business on it, just don't take any Nigerian partners <G>.
LOL.
