Moshe,
Are you attempting to fool people into thinking that the USA bans
crypto stronger than 52 bit? Or, do you REALLY believe that? I can walk
up to my local computer store and purchase crypto software with 256-bit
AES, 448-bit Blowfish, many variations. It is not illegal to download
these kinds of programs either. There are dozens and dozens of them.
And what's with this stuff about the source code having to be provided
to the government?
You are wayyy off base, my friend. The link you cite on your website is
about EXPORT control. It is about not being able for strong
cryptography to be sold to certain nations at odds with the USA. In
other words, you have it BACKWARDS! Yet, you went to school here and
didn't know that?
Can you explain any of this to us here at alt.privacy? Your website's
claims and notices that you cannot sell to the United States is
bizarre. The cryptography control laws here relate only in what CANNOT
be sold to other countries. People buy and sell programs with the
strongest of cryptography everyday in the United States.
If the bogus information stays on your website, we'll all know it was a
blatant LIE. In fact, you know enough now - why is it still there>
Selling snakeoil, Moshe???
