The whois problem isn't so much a problem with your "webspace" provider as
it is your domain registrar. Often the two are the same, but they don't
have to be. Typically you can take your domain to any host and park it
there.
That said, many or most(?) registrars aren't sticklers for you using your
precise name and address. Give them a "company name" or just flat out make
something up and get an email account somewhere in that name as your point
of contact. Not difficult at all to do, and as long as the credit card is
valid, a lot of places don't care whose name a domain is registered to.
Or...
There's services that will register domains for you, more or less
anonymously. I don't know what they charge for the service, but it
shouldn't be much. they even give you a "coded" email address for use as
an admin contact that I assume forwards to herever your little heart
