Associated Press Review of Obama's Official Travel Schedule finds that three of every
four trips by the president and his key officials have been to the 28 states Obama
carried in last year's election.

AP says only for this administration are the tax payers footing the multi-million
dollar tab.

Report says taxpayers have spent almost $1.5 million for trips by administration
officials other than Obama and V.P. Biden. The White House says the travel is
necessary to promote the administration's agenda.

My question: Don't Obama's "key officials" have their own budgets which include
travel?....or are these "key officials"

You don't know much about "government travel" under the latest rules as of Ronald Reagan The President may direct any staff member to travel on his behalf. The OMB contacts the White House travel officer with a trip schedule, that office assigns a aircraft suitable for the trip length and duration and amount of people traveling. Rules allow the aircraft to land at a civilian airport if one is closer than a military base which then a motorcade must be arraigned. the aircraft sits there until the visits are concluded. If housing is needed then Hotel arrangements are made and usually paid with a credit card and a per diem is then allowed for food. So then the next day they load up the aircraft and on to the next location, repeat as needed.

And then again.....there's THE Messiah - who flies a fleet of Boeing's over to Denmark for the Olympic thing. Any idea why THE Messiah and his wife couldn't have shared a jet?

Is it safe to assume that THE Messiah has written a check made out to Al Gore, Inc. to payoff his carbon footprints for the Copenhagen gig?

You'd think the liberal global warming kooks would be outraged about this.

LOL!!!!! :^D
