Just heard Microsoft Labor conditions are worsening, this is good news for the
stock market.

Your calculation is wrong, there are almost 10.000 programmers at microsoft.
The other employees do not count when calculating the 'being murdered' risk as
a computer programmer working for microsoft since the others are not
programmers at all.

As you say 3.2 per 100,000 as a risk to be murdered, but you must calculate it
as 3.2 per 10,000.

So the calculation gets roughly 32 killed programmers per 100,000, there are
numerous examples of other microsoft programmers who had an unnatural death.

So the question if you are a microsoft computer programmer are you more in risk
of being murdered than the average man/woman? The answer is yes, almost 8 times
more at risk, that is 800% more risk to be murdered.

The question what remains is WHY?

Looks like Microsoft is a bad place to work.

Aren't we forgetting programmers getting their first cardiac arrest at age 34?
Let me explain, you are a programmer, you are sitting whole day behind your pc.
This really stresses your blood vessels and vains. Sometimes a little blood
plate comes loose so programmers are much more in risk for disseases like lung
embolia.

Please trust me, programming is bad for your health. Wether you are open source
or closed source programmer, it is bad for your boddy. I am not talking about
RSI, i am talking about the serious deceases.

Compare it with sitting in a flight seat in an airplain. Haven't you heard of
people developing tromboses that way?

Microsoft programmers in general burn out at 34 years old. I am sorry it is
that way.

It however seems that the microsoft programmers found dead have critisized
microsoft about human rights and working conditions. So being murdered for code
might not apply in all cases.

Why would Microsoft "kill" it's employees to steal their "code"?

Any programming code done while working for a company BELONGS TO THE COMPANY!
This is quite standard in *any* business... you're being paid to work, so your
'work' belongs to those who pay you for it. Invent a new drug? Merck gets
it,
not you. Invent a device to give better gas mileage? Ford owns the rights,
not
you. And so forth...

No company has any incentive whatsoever to "kill" you for the work you perform
while an employee.

As of June 30th, 2009, Microsoft had 92,736 employees. This post details the
"murder" of 3 of them. That amounts to a murder rate of roughly 3.2 per
100,000. The most recent figures put the average murder rate in the U.S. as
5.8
per 100,000.

Looks like Microsoft is a safe place to work...

So? I have to agree with this.

Employees of Microsoft have a far higher than average chance of
catching a fatal bug.

Anyway, something is killing programmers in figures far above average. That
cannot be denied.

Just after completing an internal eductation with Microsoft HQ Seattle the dead
boddy of Jin Chen 22 years was found on the foot of the Lincoln Square
skyscraper.>

wrapped in sheets under his bed in a hotel in Readmond, Seattle. It is not
known how the Microsoft programmer was killed. Familiy was not notified of his
death. Partho Ghosh worked on the Hyderabad design.>

Evenso last week an emplyee of Foxconn was found dead after a visit of the
.secret company police visited his apartment. In this case it is all about a
chinese employee who worked on the upcoming iPhone 4G. One of the prototypes
was missing. Suspected is suicide to save the family honour.

A female microsoft employee of Microsoft called Melissa Batten aged 36 yrs old
and her husband where found dead. According to the police the husband killed
them Melissa and himself with a sustained amount of shots through there heads.

Melissa was a developer of the Microsoft XBox software devision.
