Anger toward Obama, government isn't just about health care
By STEVEN THOMMA - McClatchy Newspapers
...Threats and inappropriate messages to federal judges and court
personnel doubled from 2002 to 2008, forcing the U.S. Marshal's
service to open a new Threat Management Center to handle the workload.
The number of people refusing to pay taxes to a government they claim
is illegitimate rose so much in recent years that the Internal Revenue
Service last year created a National Tax Defier Initiative to fight
them.
Immigration from Latin America has fed resentment, as well as a fear
among some groups that the country's very sovereignty was at risk..
Some warn of secret plans for a North American Union that would meld
the U.S. with Canada and Mexico. Others say that Mexicans have a
secret "Plan de Aztlan" that would reconquer the southwestern U.S..
...Some of the anger is driven by conspiracy theories - secret
government camps to lock up dissenters, guillotines to behead
opponents and a government illegally led by a foreigner - and spreads
at breakneck speed via the Internet and over the airwaves...
...a former FBI agent named Ted Gunderson can be seen addressing a
Florida conference, explaining matter-of-factly that the government
has prepared a thousand secret internment camps for dissenters, and
stored 500,000 caskets in Georgia for those it will kill.
In another Florida conference and a written report this year, he added
that a secret government source assured him that the government also
has 30,000 guillotines. "Beheading," he wrote, "is the most efficient
means of harvesting body parts."
-- end quote
There's more in the article  -- for example, "the Oathkeepers," active
police and firefighters who expect a round-up of Americans by the
Obama government; about Bachmann, about Jerome Corsi who's telling
conservatives that the federal government is building concentration
camps for them -- you should probably read the whole article.
There's a disease in journalism when it comes to talking about the
American left and the right -- the disease is that the reporter has to
blame both sides, left and right, for the problem. But if you take a
deep breath and listen to who is shrieking what, you will see that all
the threats and nuthouse groups ARE ON THE RIGHT.
There are no left or liberal "conspiracy nuts" that are comparable to
the right wing kooks and liars and panic mongers. The organized
conspiracy mongering is a right-wing thing, not a liberal or
progressive thing.
There seems to be a mistaken assumption by reasonable people that the
wackadoodles on the right -- Bachmann, Corsi, Beck, to name a few --
would abandon the conspiracy thinking and revolution talk if Obama
repealed a few laws and policies.
They wouldn't.
The right is inextricably attached to hating the people who disagree
with the right; fully committed to concoting lies about the people who
aren't on the right.
For the right, there is no issue of "fear of big government" when the
right is in charge; conservatives did not demand the repeal of
surveillance laws under the Bush administration; they hailed them and
supported them.
The problem for the right is not that Obama hasn't repealed the
Patriot Act.
The problem for the right is that Obama is president and the Dems now
run Congress. For the American right, the only proper response to that
fact of life is to spread hate and lies.
You'll note that some of the people propounding the most crazy
theories -- Bachmann, Beck, Corsi -- have regular access to
conservative airwaves. They are presented on Fox and other broadcast
venues as accredited sources of truth, people worth listening to --
even when what they say is regularly discredited by the professional
media as inflammatory lies.
As long as that's the case, the hate and craziness will continue to
drive the right. When broadcast media regularly present inflammatory
lies as if they were "valid differences of opinion" -- the lies catch
on, and the hate based on the lies increases.
THERE IS NOTHING VALID ABOUT THE CRACKPOT CONSPIRACY HORSESHIT BEING
SPREAD BY THE RIGHT.
But that is the way America is now, and it's real danger to
underestimate the effect that a right dominated by lies and hatred is
going to have on the rest of us. They say and believe that the elected
officials of America are the enemy of America -- and many of them are
counting on a payoff, preparing for violence.
They have lighted the fire that will burn down our house -- with them
in it.
But then again, remember how kooky you libbies all acted from 2000-2008
when you all came down with Bush Derangement Syndrome?
Payback is a *beeeottttcccchhhhhhhhhhh*!!!!!!!!!  ;^D
Let's see, who deserves more scorn...Bush or Obama?
Easy, Obambi.....aka: The Apologizer. You'd think Jimmy Carter was back
in office or something.
Bush started an illegitimate war based on lies for profit and power,
You're still affected by Bush Derangement Syndrome....obviously.
We'll pray for you, young man.
A religious wingnut!
A liberal kook. Sheesh.

Did you know Jesus by definition was a Liberal?
So was JFK. They would both be disgusted by liberals in America today.
What a shame :^\

I think we can all thank our lucky stars that Al Gore wasn't in the
White House on 9/11/01!!!!!!!!  Thankfully, George Bush made the
difficult (but obvious) decision to wage the war on terror!!!
The war on error?
The war on terror....you know, the one that Obambi continues to
apologize on behalf of all Americans for.

Why don't you get out your metal detector and hit the Anbar Province
as I am sure you are delusional enough to believe there is some sarin
gas and briefcase nukes out there in Iraq....somewhere.....
Not sure about now....but obviously Saddam Hussein used wmd at one point.

You are one serious dumbfuck.
You are one bitter liberal.

Yeah, we were so blessed to have Dubya sit there reading the Goat book
while Manhattan burned.
We were lucky that Al Gore wasn't in office, ready to negotiate with Al
Qaeda - asking how many dollars it would require to not have Al Qaeda
strike America again!!!!!

spends a trillion dollars and causes the deaths of hundreds of
thousands of Iraqis and thousands of American Servicemen.
Yep, war is ugly.  It is truly amazing that George W Bush was able to
take control of Iraq and lose less than 5,000 soldiers!!!!  In previous
wars, Americans lost that many brave soldiers per week. Thank you George
W Bush!!!!!!!
Bush is a murderer who sent those Americans in their without proper
equipment and no strategy to get out.
Why hasn't Obambi pulled the troops out of Iraq, and why is he
increasing troop levels in Afghanistan?  Why is Obambi murdering folks?
Here's hoping the next republican president brings Obambi up on charges
of killing innocent folks in Pakistan - what a disgrace Obambi is as a
leader.

Bush is the worst plauge to ever befall the United States.
Yep, another case of Terminal Bush Derangement Syndrome. As of now there
is no known cure.

A study funded by the US government has concluded that conservatism
can be explained psychologically as a set of neuroses rooted in "fear
and aggression, dogmatism and the intolerance of ambiguity".
As if that was not enough to get Republican blood boiling, the
report's four authors linked Hitler, Mussolini, Ronald Reagan and the
rightwing talkshow host, Rush Limbaugh, arguing they all suffered from
the same affliction.
Liberalism is *indeed* a mental disorder.

Hope this helps!!!!!!!!!!!- Hide quoted text -

liberalism isn't the worst.
conservatism so-called is a byproduct of (and goes hand in hand with)
water retention and sexual deviancy.
show me a conservative and i'll show you a pervert.

Speaking of perverts, check out *this* clown:

thanks, i'll pass.

Gotta love his vocals in that link :^D

you think they can hide forever by throwing up a self-righteous front?
register conservatives not guns.

Just say NO to Obambi's health care debacle!!!!!!!- Hide quoted text -
