This is what the death of a political party looks like

Rep. John Sullivan (R-OK) is openly questioning the legality of
Obama's presidency all in the name of appeasing the lunatic right that
he represents.
Rep. Darrell Issa (R, CA) said last night in Real Time with Bill Maher
that because the Republicans are so decimated they do not have a clear
leader, thus, it's every man for himself. His meaning was clear:
Although they call themselves the GOP there is actually no party to
speak of -- every Republican Congressman and Senator is his own party.
They have angry constituents who are unwilling to face the fact that
"their" America is a dwindling minority.... remember Glenn Beck's "we
surround them" shtick.
But, instead of doing what a responsible leader would do -- that is,
lead them out of the wildernees -- GOP representatives are following
the footsteps of their dingbat constituents.
Meanwhile, Congressman Bob Inglis (R, SC) tried in vain at a town hall
meeting to calm down the tea baggers and other nutcases who shouted
him down. When he told them to "turn off Glenn Beck," half the
audience went berserk, shouting and shrieking at him.
Folks, this is not about health reform. This is about pure hate and
fear. The Republikkkon Party has been -- for 50 years -- sowing a
message of hate and fear -- from the 1950's when the GOP asked the
stupid question "who lost China" and Joe McCarthy waved his lists of
commies in the guvmint to the 1980's when Ronald Reagan announced his
candidacy in Philadelphia, MS, where the Klansmen who murdered three
civil rights workers were found not guilty to Nixon's Southern
Strategy to Bush's "Axis of evil" and "If you're not for us you're
against us" -- it's all fear, fear, hate, hate -- and let's don't EVEN
get started on Limbo, Beck, Malkin, Hannity, Fox, Coulter -- hate,
hate, hate.
The Chinese have a saying about riding the tiger -- it's a helluva a
ride but when you try to get off, you're facing a very pissed-off
tiger. The GOP has been riding the tiger and now, when they try to
dismount, the tiger is eating them alive.
