CLINTON - Charges against a man accused of shooting a 6-pound dog to
death in front of her owner have been sent to a grand jury.
Chihuahuas aren't dogs. They're a type of rat.
They do go good in Mexican food, though.
A preliminary hearing for Daniel Smith, 31, had been set for today in
Anderson County General Sessions Court.
Court officials said the case was instead waived late Wednesday to an
Anderson Court grand jury.
Smith, of the Heiskell community, remains free on $30,000 bond on
charges of intentional killing of an animal and reckless endangerment.
Smith allegedly shot Rosie, a Chihuahua owned by a neighbor Fay Loriaux,
through the left eye in an April 13 incident.
Smith's attorney, Adam Moncier, earlier said the dog wasn't wearing a
collar and the defendant's young child was in the area at the time.
Did she have her earplugs in? If not, her dad should be arrested for
endangering a child.
“She was my baby. She slept with me. She ate with me. She did everything
with me,’’ Loriaux said in April.
*EVERY* thing? ARREST THAT WOMAN FOR LESBIAN BESTIALITY!
