Woman dies after eight hospitals turn her away

TOKYO, Oct 22: A woman in Japan suffering a brain haemorrhage while
about to give birth died after being turned away by eight hospitals,
prompting anger over Japan’s strained medical system.

Ageing Japan has a shortage of doctors and emergency services. The
number of obstetricians in particular has fallen, and concerns over
medical malpractice suits and long working hours have increased.

Eight hospitals in Tokyo refused to take in the 36-year-old woman
earlier this month, citing reasons such as not having enough doctors,
the Tokyo Metropolitan Government said on Wednesday.

An hour later, one hospital agreed to take her and carried out a
Caesarean section and an operation on her brain. But the woman died
three days later, Tokyo said.—Reuters

It doesn't now, but when the eventual rationing kicks in (Like in all
countries with
socialized medicine) due to balooning cost overruns needing ever higher
tax rates
you can thank the socialists (I mean democrats) for this.
BTW St. Barak is going to give us nationalized healthcare for 70
billion when medicare

Universal health care will bankrupt this country. We live right next
door to millions and millions of third world peoples who will walk
across our wide open border and demand equal health care. Who will
turn them down? It won't be the politicians who all grovel and kiss
ass for the Hispanic vote, it won't be liberal whites who are deathly
afraid of being called a racist, and it won't be the liberal courts,
we've seen how the courts pander to the illegals.

They WILL bankrupt us, as they are already bankrupting many hospitals
in this country, but we will go down the tubes, all holding hands,
singing "Kumbaya", and telling each other what good unselfish and non-
racist people we are.
