Obama says Russia is wrong to invade Georgia, but that it would help

When the United States was gearing up to invade Iraq, I asked then if
supporters of that course of action were prepared to see other nations
take advantage of the precedent the American were setting.  Either you
respect the principle of national sovereignty or you don't.  To the
Russians, the invasion of Iraq looked like a big country just slapping
around a smaller country who annoyed it.  That Saddam was a dictator
means very little to the Russians.  After all the United States stays
chummy with other dictators in the region.  Heck the U.S. sends
prisoners to be tortured by them.  That Saddam was a dictator seems
less important than that Saddam was annoying, and strategically
positioned.

Don't try to reason with these people.

Their minds are made up and they don't want to be confused with facts.
