The Saudis & OPEC got the price of oil tripled. They're gonna be
happy with that.

Good News: The price of gas will stabilize at just under $5/gl.

Bad News: The price of gas will NEVER AGAIN be significantly less than
it is now.

Really Bad News: That Something Big on Energy that we need to do? We
won't do it now....

Well MCCAIN voted AGAINST the bill funding alternative energy
development and he voted AGAINST increasing fuel efficiency standards.
SO MUCH FOR MCCAIN'S ENERGY POLICY.
That's because of all those lobbyists on McCain's staff, and all those
lobbyists donating money to his campaign... oh yes he's their boy all
right.

Now Obama, he's got some good ideas, he's at least TRIED to stay away
from the lobbyist influence and, most importantly of all, this guy
will never suck up to the Saudis cuz OBAMA is NOT an oil man. If
anything, the Saudis are going to be very wary of him.

Now what YOU have got to do is take a good hard look at the positions
you espouse and the people you keep supporting, like that idiot
Gonzales who got flushed down the toilet quite some time ago.

You've got it HALF right - America will NOW, in pretty short order,
find new energy basis and technologies. Why heck, there's already
electric car conversion shops springing up all over the country. If
you've got small car, don't drive much and don't mind some Lithium
batteries in your trunk, you'll get about 150 miles per charge with a
top speed
of around 65. It'll take 5-6 hours for a recharge.
Not much, but that's JUST the begining - wait till the tinkerers get
to work on it.

But the half you've got WRONG is backing McCain. He's got NO energy
policy at all other than to maybe throw money at some pie in the sky
fusion project or hydrogen fuel cells which MIGHT be ready in 20-30
years - meanwhile ... it's MORE OIL
($$$$$$). He's right in big oil's pocket while they
run fucking nonsense commercials on TV about clean energy and all the
"innovation" their doing (bull***).
